• Michael McNamara, CEO
    Mac's early experience as a computer architect and chip designer (ESL/TRW, Cydrome, Ardent, Stardent) in the '80s prepared and motivated him to be an EDA tool developer in the 90's and 10's (developing VCS @ Chronologic, SureCov @ Surefire, and C-to-Silicon at Cadence). Now with better tools, Mac is leading the team who is building integrated circuits in an adaptable manner at Adapt IP.com

  • Phil Tharp, CTO
    Phil's twenty years of experience at NASA, Intel and Adobe gave him extensive experience in building reliable systems and software as a part of large teams delivering to mission critical customers. In 1994 he founded Vreelin, Inc, and developed integrated circuit IP and device drivers on contract for companies including IBM, Conexant and FWB. Phil is an expert on the Universal Serial bus, and has implemented devices for customers including USB V.90 modem, USB ADSL Modem, USB 2.0 Highspeed FPGA cores.

  • Dr. John Sanguinetti, Chairman
    A serial EDA entrepreneur and angel investor, John brings his years of experience, connections and technologist savvy to Adapt-IP. John has worked in computer architecture, performance analysis and design verification for 20 years. After working for Digital Equipment Corporation, Amdahl, ELXSI, Ardent, and NeXT, he founded Chronologic Simulation in 1991 and was President until 1995. Dr. Sanguinetti was the principal architect of VCS, the Verilog Compiled Simulator. He is a Founder of Forte Design Systems, which focuses on high-level hardware synthesis from SystemC. He was named an ACM Fellow in 2012.

  • Dr. Lucio Lanza, Board Member
    Dr. Lanza is director of Lanza techVentures, an early stage venture capital and investment firm for new companies with innovative technologies in the semiconductor and technical software markets. He has held the position of general partner with U.S. Venture Partners. He held the position of chief strategist and leader of merger and acquisition activity for Cadence Design Systems as well as executive management positions with several leading technology companies including Olivetti, Intel, Daisy Systems, and EDA Systems, where he was CEO.

    Mr. Lanza serves on the boards of Critical Blue, Forte Design Systems, PDF Solutions, Inc. (NASDAQ: PDFS), Sigmatix and Numerate. He holds a doctorate in electronic engineering from Politecnico di Milano.
