• Michael McNamara, CEO
Mac's early experience as a computer architect and chip designer (ESL/TRW, Cydrome, Ardent, Stardent) in the '80s prepared and motivated him to be an EDA tool developer in the 90's and 10's (developing VCS @ Chronologic, SureCov @ Surefire, and C-to-Silicon at Cadence). Now with better tools, Mac is leading the team who is building integrated circuits in an adaptable manner at Adapt IP.com

  • Sean Smith, Principle Engineer
Sean's twenty plus years of experience at IBM, Cisco and Juniper gave him extensive technical experience in the specification and verification of complex systems, and the technology and methodology required to build reliable systems and software as a part of large teams delivering to mission critical customers. In 2004 he joined Denali, a supplier of verification and design IP, to use his experience in building and verifing SoCs to drive the technical direction of the development of tools and IP to make this process simpler and less error-prone. Sean joined Adapt-IP in 2012 to apply his experience to help us redefine semiconductor design.

  • Dr. John Sanguinetti, Chairman
A serial EDA entrepreneur and angel investor, John brings his years of experience, connections and technologist savvy to Adapt-IP. John has worked in computer architecture, performance analysis and design verification for 20 years. After working for Digital Equipment Corporation, Amdahl, ELXSI, Ardent, and NeXT, he founded Chronologic Simulation in 1991 and was President until 1995. Dr. Sanguinetti was the principal architect of VCS, the Verilog Compiled Simulator. He is a Founder of Forte Design Systems, which focuses on high-level hardware synthesis from SystemC. He was named an ACM Fellow in 2012.
